**Michelle J. Ng., GSIS (AP Cal BC, AL Math A*), Brown University**

"I have had good math tutors before Alex but what sets him apart is his ability to put the most complex maths problems and theories into layman's terms. With his help, A Levels and AP mathematics progressed from difficult feats to achievable tasks."

**Lorraine Ho., CDNIS (IB 45), NYU**

"There is no better place for students to enhance their learning than at Level 7, where there is an abundance of immense support and exceptional teaching standards. Lesson plans are tailored to each individual student, and there is a great emphasis placed on cultivating strong interpersonal relationships. Level 7's impressive academic atmosphere and encouraging teachers make it a wonderful learning centre to attend."

**Florence Ho, CDNIS, NYU**

"After spending my time as a student here at Level 7, I can say with confidence that this is one of the best learning centres in the city––perhaps even the best. The teachers possess incredible dedication and unparalleled resources. Furthermore, while there is a strong focus on the syllabus, the teachers also help students develop techniques for taking examinations, making the classes taught here very well-rounded and extraordinarily helpful."

**Luke Kim, South Island, Stanford University**

"Despite the fact that I loved Mathematics and problem solving, I was not as interested in Physics until I met my tutor. Mr.Wong is a very passionate lecturer and his lessons are exciting and intellectually stimulating. His explanations are very clear and he is able to help students with various Physics curricula. Furthermore, Mr. Wong is also a very good problem solver and is able to explain mathematical concepts used in Physics problems clearly. With his help, I was able to achieve high scores for all of my Physics examinations!"

**Desiree Wong, KGV, HKU (Medicine)**

"I'm going to be honest; I hated maths. Who cares about vectors and trigonometry? To me, maths was confusing and useless. But Alex actually made maths easy. He simplifies strange concepts and made the maths exams a 'piece of cake'. Maths became less of a burden and more of an enjoyable experience at Level 7. Thanks to Alex, I now believe that maths is actually fun!. And if that's not enough of an incentive, they also make really good waffles at Level 7."

**Joseph Kim, CIS, Cornell University (Architecture)**

"As absurd as it may sound, Alex really knows how to make IB math lessons hilarious and entertaining. Like many students, I therefore found myself eager to spend most of my time studying at Level 7. Alex is always willing to provide a helping hand whether it be in finishing research projects, in studying for exams, or simply in raising our exhausted spirits. Needless to say, the results follow through; I have learned more in Level 7 than I have ever had in any other classroom."

"Coming to level 7 for Math tuition was one of the best decisions I've ever made. It is almost impossible to find a tutor as engaging, sincere and knowledgeable as Alex. Alex knows the IB curriculum arguably better than my teachers at school; he always came to class prepared with a solid lesson plan and class material to help his students fully understand concepts and solve difficult problems. Alex changed my perception of mathematics, and made me enjoy the subject far more than I had expected myself to. He's absolutely amazing!"

**Crystal Leung, CIS Class of 2017, U Penn**

"Alex helped me get a 7 in maths HL and taught me the difficult sets and groups option.I also got a grade A in my maths extended essay. I could not have accomplished these two achievements without him."

**Byron Lee, CIS Class of 2016, Cornell University**

"At the start of iB physics, I was confident that as long as I recited every single detail in the textbook, I wouldn't need a tutor to help me with Physics.

However, I was quickly proved wrong in the first mechanics test, overwhelmed by an array of confusing equations that I did not know how to apply.

This was when I sought for Will's help. With his clear and organized lectures and explanations, I was able to develop a better understanding of how concepts from different areas of physics interact.

As a good problem solver, he walks students through problems by deriving, explaining, manipulating and applying physics equations for complex questions.

Moreover, he also tailors lessons to the students' interest and progress, where he would include knowledge outside of the textbook that bolsters the students' understanding of Physics.

With his passion and patience for teaching, I was able to breeze through iB Physics."

"Will knows everything about iB Physics like the back of his hand and has always been so approachable when I needed help with anything at all.

I really wish I had come to him sooner, but I always looked forward to our lessons, and he really knows how to make HL Physics a lot less horrible.

He is always gentle and explains everything in a way that always helps me understand difficult concepts, whether during lessons or his notes (the best notes) - he's the best!"

"Alex is probably the best tutor I have ever met. His tutorials are engaging, clear and concise: not only does Alex make clear what I need to know for the exam, he also teaches me the thinking skills to tackle unfamiliar problems.

Besides, Alex is friendly, smart and willing to help with whatever difficulties I encounter. With his help, my mathematics has improved by 2 levels in just a few months, and I have acquired a more thorough understanding of mathematics itself."

**Jocelyn Wong., GSIS (IB 45), HKU Med**

Wayne is an experienced and dedicated tutor. Without doubt, he played a huge role in helping me achieve the scores I did in the IB HL Chemistry exams and I do not think I would have been able to do so without his help. Throughout the past two years, he went through the entire Chemistry syllabus, which he knows extremely well, breaking down complex concepts into much simpler ideas using analogies, examples and models. This definitely made the subject a lot easier to me - Chemistry turned from a subject that I had most problems with in the beginning of IB, to the subject that I was most confident in when I sat the actual exams.

**Adonia Cheung, Chem HL 7, South Island class of 2018, HKU Med**

From explaining difficult chemistry concepts to breaking down past paper questions (and also patiently repeating the explanations multiple times), I am immensely grateful for the help Wayne gave me throughout the IB HL Chemistry course. Wayne has a lot of material for his students and knows the syllabus thoroughly, my 7 is largely thanks to him

**Sheren Mao, Chem HL 7, CIS class of 2018, Cambridge Law**

Being a great teacher doesn’t just come with an abundance of knowledge. Wayne’s enthusiasm, commitment and patience to teach made learning Chemistry something I’d never expect to enjoy this much. He is best at teaching concepts through models, detailed explanations and examples that encourage me to think and to really understand them. He also ensures to get to know his students on a personal level; his dedication and eagerness to share his knowledge made learning from him something I really looked forward to each week.

I would like to express my appreciation for how Josephine helped me with my studies these past two and a half years. I find Josephine’s level of professionalism and precision the most beneficial aspects of our lessons. Josephine is able to meticulously identify and assign work that would maximise the student’s educational outcome. Despite the well-thought-out lessons, Josephine also never fails to answer any out-of-class questions I have about current economic affairs. In turn, these exchanges have heightened my application of economics and increased my ability to take on exam situations. As such, I feel honoured to be able to share my graduation achievement of being granted the CDNIS Economics Award with her. Thank you Josephine!

**Colin Huang., CIS class of 2019**

Struggling in math, economics, and physics became a thing of the past after I met Alex, Josephine, and Will. Learning at i7 boosted my confidence in IB and allowed me to find joy and interest in learning. i7 is more than an ordinary learning centre; it is a place filled with the brightest lifelong teachers, and a home that provides me with warmth, friendship, and laughter. From Alex’s easiest explanations, to Josephine’s integration of real life situations, to Will’s superb drawings that can make the hardest physics concepts look simple, I appreciate each tutors different but effective teaching techniques. It is no exaggeration when I say that they are the best tutors one can ever find in Hong Kong!
